Samsung Sgh-e316 Review – a Review of the Samsung Sgh-e316 Cellular Phone

The Samsung SGH-E316 is a rounded phone – that makes up for its extra weight in great features. The internal memory holds up to 8512 kilobytes of photos, downloaded games, or MMS messages. The phone’s high color internal 65K TFT display features QQVGA resolution, and the external screen features a resolution of 96 by 64 pixels. The phone also features a VGA camera – complete with digital zoom and a wide range of shot modes – including timer shot, self mode and multi shot. The camera also supports motion JPEG + AMR video recording, making it possible to capture those all-important moments without having to fumble with a bulky camcorder.

The Samsung SGH-E316 comes with a 40 polyphonic ringtones and 3D sound technology for SMAF and SMF files. The phone measures 3.3” high, 1.8” wide and 0.9” thick when folded. At 3.0 ounces, the SGH-E316 is hefty for a modern mobile phone. However, along with this extra weight comes sturdiness and quality service.

Both voicemail and voice memo are supported on the Samsung SGH-E316, and enhanced SMS comes with the phone. This service includes EMS and image messaging; allowing the user to say with a picture what might really otherwise take one thousand words.

Further, the mobile phone operates on the GSM 900 and GSM 1900 MHz bands. The phone also uses the CSD and GPRS Class 8 network protocols to connect and transfer information. The phone’s standard battery lasts for a minimum of 2.5 hours if the user is talking, and a minimum of 200 hours on standby. The unusually large electronic phonebook holds up to 2000 alphanumeric entries, and the phone almost functions as a personal agenda in itself, with built in calculator, alarm and calendar.

As one can see, the Samsung SGH-E316 is a great phone for media and chatting alike.

Canon SX110IS Digital Camera Review

I have had the Canon SX110IS for almost a calendar month, and I highly advocate it. It is a bit larger, but it just makes up for it with the 10x zoom. It’s not an SLR, the photographic camera comes with feature a full non-automatic style where you can determine focusing, aperture, and exposure time. The digital image stabilization does a good job of preventing your images blur-free too.
The feature that made me buy this camera was its image stabilization system. Friends who use digital cameras professionally all assured me that Canons optical image stabilized zoom system was the most serious in its price array. Due to a slow deterioration quake, this has became an crucial issue.
One other item of quick notice is the digital zoom which is normally a gimmick is pretty impressive. At full optical zoom and 4x digital images are still sharp when using the “super fine” and 9MP settings. The digital zoom is surprisingly effective. Recently, I caught a game and my seat was actually far. From that length, I was effective to take photographs of players at bat, that caught close facial features. I was even capable to get many very decent pictures of players in action.
From a 10x optic zoom lens to advanced Canon technology that automatically makes you the greatest shot, the 9.0-megapixel SX110 IS carries magnificent respect.
Brilliant picture quality for a little camera, lens corner to corner sharpness, minimal color fringing, and detail vs disturbance tradeoff are good greater than other cameras in its range.
Three inch LCD screen with 230k resolution, standard specs for bran-new generation cameras today. Viewable from a great angle, and visible in bright sunny terms.
The LCD is very bright and no issues in the sun. Gonna read the book and start playing with all the features.
The software user interface is out-of-date and unintuitive sometimes. Turning auto ISO shift on should automatically transfer the ISO, not expecting the pressure of the “print” button after half pushing the shutter. Some of the characteristics require a lot of button pushes. Also auto-power off mode only lets option of off or 3 mins, and lens retract in playback is either prompt or 1 min, there should be values in between.
The camera settings are easy to utilise, and evenly smooth to access. The Auto placing is fairly idiot proof and does a good job under a wide sort of terms. I found the SX110 to be decent, well made yet still small enough to suit into a laptop computer carrying bag.
I never imagined that I would buy anything then than a Nikon, but at present I guess this was one of the hottest buys that I have taken in a long time. It presents on its promises, creating photos whose quality rivals those of much more expensive digital photographic cameras.
I would say this camera is about the best you can buy for a point and shoot before entering into the SLR like and true SLR’s.

Samsung LN46A850 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with RED Touch of Color – Overview, Pics and customer review

Unless you’ve been living in a cave, you’ve likely heard about the Samsung T.V . pictured above.  This beauty of a machine is making major waves… and for just reason.

Let’s explore why so many across the nation are buying this unit up like it’s going out of fashion.

My wife and I bought this bad boy last week from Amazon, and it arrived in 4 days flat with their great delivery service. We decided to hang it up on our masonry fireplace. We chose a Sanus tilting mount for the job, which was surprisingly easy to attach to the masonry.

The 850 is special because it’s super thin. 1.9″ at it’s thickest point. This makes wall mounting especially attractive. Throw in the excellent picture, and I’m on cloud nine. After one day of enjoying it, I say that while I’m impressed with the clarity of the 120Hz feature, my wife and I keep the setting set to “low”, which introduces a higher framerate, but not so high as to be actively distracting. For us, the “camcorder-like” feeling of the full 120Hz is best for sports, as opposed to movies/tv. Bottom line: The Samsung LCD’s are amazing to begin with, and the “8″ series, given it’s thin frame, adds some extra style. Keep that in mind when your comparing this model to all the others, including the 9 (950/960) series which has a superior LED lighting engine, but is considerably thicker than the 8 (850/860).

Best DSLR Camera For Beginners – Nikon D5000 Entry Level DSLR Review

The factors that should be the deciding ones for you are:

The first three factors can be easily found by checking a couple of the more reliable camera review sites. Two excellent sources are dpreview.com and imaging-resource.com.

The final factor can be checked by going to the places where cameras are sold, such as amazon, B & H Photo, or Adorama, where there are reviews by those who have purchased the cameras. Camera buyers are extremely honest in their opinions. After all, what do they have to gain by fabricating a false review?

How does the Nikon D5000 entry level DSLR stack up?

First, the image quality is excellent. DPReview has given its highest rating to the Nikon D5000 – “Highly Recommended” – with this one recommendation. You should shoot your pictures in RAW mode rather than in JPEG mode. This is because the in-camera software processes the images without as much sharpening as Canon’s Rebel T1i. To the average viewer, this would not be obvious without it being pointed out. Suffice it to say that the Nikon D5000 produces excellent image quality.

Second, the ease of use of the D5000 is also excellent. The camera controls are well placed and easy to navigate. They are quite intuitive even for a beginning DSLR user.

The third factor could be the deciding one. Nikon has included two very desirable features that are not on the less expensive Nikon D3000 or the Canon Rebel XSi. The first is HD video similar to the more professional Nikon models. This being said, if you are buying a camera expecting the same video capabilities as a dedicated camcorder, you will need to look elsewhere. But the quality of the D5000 video is excellent when compared to other DSLRs.

Finally, checking the users’ ratings of the Nikon D5000 on Amazon shows that consumers are very impressed with their purchase. They have given the D5000 an average rating of 4.13 out of 5. And at B & H Photo, the users are just as happy with their purchase. They have rated the D5000 at 4.25 out of 5. (These ratings would actually be higher, except there was a recall of the initial release due to a faulty chip, but that has been resolved.)

Finding the best DSLR camera for beginners is not an easy task, but if you have good information, it will make your choice much easier. See a side-by-side comparison of the Nikon D5000 with its younger sibling, the Nikon D3000 at http://www.digital-photographic-resources.com. Once you make your decision, you will be on your way to a rewarding hobby or career.

Happy Shooting!

The Affordable Mustek DV316L Reviewed

Today we’ll look at the affordable Mustek DV316L which by almost any merchant sells for well under $100.  This camera’s simplicity and cost gets everyone into the video world we are now liviing in that wants to be there. The Mustek DV316L does take video and also takes pictures.  These can be easily uploaded to your computer or to sites like flickr and youtube.  If you are looking  for a camera that you won’t worry about breaking for your busy lifestyle then the price on this camera will do the trick for you.  You can film what you need and not need to remortgage the house if you break the camcorder.  Personally I love packing a camcorder in my pocket (where they can easily get broken) and the Mustek DV316L looks like a good one to think about. The Mustek DV316L boasts itself as a six in one media device.  Those functions the camera performs are video camera, picture camera, a webcam for your personal computer, a video playback device, and as a masss storage device.  The Mustek DV316L has one major drawback we’ve seen reported and that is the ability to playback video on the camera itself with sound.  There are many times when we want to  just watch the video we just filmed and use a playback feature.  It’s a bummer we see reports this doesn’t exist on this camera with sound but for the price we’ll let it slide. For the price of this camcorder it’s hard to beat if you just need some video capture capabilites at the cheapest price.  If you want a bit more than dirt cheap you might try looking at a “flip” camcorder which is still cheap but has a few more features.
